Hey all - I'm working on building my own iteration of the MyFocuser project. First off let me say that this is AMAZING stuff. Thank you SO very much for the incredible documentation and code!

I want to sync the projec to my laptop so I can work on the code a bit and not have to keep pulling down random files. This project is fairly complex and has tons of small files - is there a way to sync or download the entire project without having to grab every single file individually!

Thanks again for the incredible work!

Best advice is download the pdf from the documents folder. that is the best start point read it from front to back. Decide on an option (do you want full or minimal build). Work out the CFZ of your scope and determine what stepper you require eg PG27 at half steps. Next decide on driver board, drv8825 is a good choice. So now you have a DRV8825 model with lets say minimal. So goto the driver boards folder and download details re that. Also the arduino firmware file, the ascom driver and windows app. Then you have all you need to build the focuser....

There are many people that have built their own and can give you good advice.

Sorry no. The whole idea is to download only what you need to build the focuser of your choice. So you only need to download the pdf, and the board layout for your focuser + the software. Thousands of hours of work has gone into this so far to help fellow astronomers build a working focuser for themselves. And files are subject to change at any time. All that is asked in return is respect for Copyright.

    Cheers

Feedback is always welcome. And many users end up customising the code, its part of the DIY spirit. One shoe does not fit all :-)

Looking forward to seeing your implementation

      Cheers
