Can someone give me some help if i can use or not this motor with the arduino motor shield v2?
If not, there's any way to use this motor with myfocuserpro2 ?
Thanks in advance

Hi,
I'm having some difficulties to find the suggested motors, namely the Nema 17-PG27. Most of the motors are 1.8º degrees (200 steps/Revolution).
I have a Unipolar motor with 3600 steps, that comes with Lunatico focuser, and it works very wel.

Hi
That stepper motor is unipolar and has 5 wires. The Sheild works with both bipolar and unipolar motors.
See attached wiring for RB37-52
Note that this motor has a lot less torque than the recommended motors
RB37 150g-cm or 0.014709975 N-m
PG27 is 0.22 N-m, and when converted to g-cm is 2243.37 g-cm
using the calculator at
https://www.convertunits.com/from/g-cm/to/N-m
and link for PG27 is
https://www.omc-stepperonline.com/nema-17-stepper-bipolar-l-33mm-w-gear-ratio-27-1-small-planetary-gearbox-17hs13-0404s-cg27
For the recommended stepper motors - stepper on line

Thanks for the answer and the stepper link.
Looking at the datasheet, I think that the unipolar motor uses 720 mA, which must be a little above of the L293D limit, but i'm could be wrong.
I'll order the PG27 then.
