    Hi

I cannot offer support for "older" versions. But I can help with issues for the latest versions. Please realize that a lot of things have been changed and fixed between "older" and the latest versions.

If you want to remain using the versions on your computer, that is ok, and the only things I am able to suggest are (unckeck reset controller on connect, and check Controller is a micro - but if that doesnt work then it does not look promising).

    I suggest the following
    1. Reprogram the controller with firmware version 328
    2. Use control panel to remove the ASCOM driver
    3. Use Control panel to remove the Windows app v2491

Install the latest ACOM driver v300
Install the latest windows app 2506

    Firmware
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/arduinoascomfocuserpro2diy/files/ARDUINO%20FIRMWARE/Firmware_myFP2_328.zip/download

    ASCOM Driver
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/arduinoascomfocuserpro2diy/files/ASCOM%20DRIVERS/myFP2ASCOMSetup300.exe/download

    Windows app
    https://sourceforge.net/projects/arduinoascomfocuserpro2diy/files/WINDOWS/MainApp/myFocuserPro2_2_5_0_6.zip/download

If you do decide to upgrade and then have issues, there are log options in both the Windows app (Logging tab, check Messages) and the ascom driver (check Logging on Connection tab). Once ;pgging is enabled, try to connect. If the connection fails, please send me the log files)

    Just a work of caution:
The new windows app should not be used on any firmware that is less than 328
The ascom driver should not be used on any firmware that is less than 328
And of course, firmware 328 should not be used on any old Windows app or ASCOM driver

    Regards
    Robert
