I built myself the MyFocuserPro2 yesterday. However I noticed the below two issues.
1. Everytime I give a command to move 500steps (at 1/4th step), it moves sometimes, sometimes it doesn't.
2. Even though I've installed the ASCOM driver, it throws up an errors in both ASCOM diagnostics and in APT software which i use for imaging. (I've been an active user of ASCOM for several years).
Your first myfocuserpro2issue.jpg clearly shows thatyou have an ascom issue, as it cannot find some ascom files in c:\program files(x86)\common files\
The second screenshot could also be the same,
You did not mention what focuser you built and you did not send me any log file to analyse so it is pretty hard for me to "guess" as to why the focuser is not moving. I also do not know what firmware version you are using so again, that makes my job of trying to offer a solution virtually impossible.
As a starting point, you did not tell me if you have the controller working with the Windows application. This is the best way to troubleshoot moving problems because it isolates out any ascom or 3rd party issues.
When you run the windows app you can turn on logging. That log file does contain a lot of information that would be helpful. I would suggest you do that first, and resolve the moving issue.
So what would be of help would be
what firmware are you using and where you got it from
if you made any changes to the firmware then I cannot help you
What board are you using, drv8825 ? is it a PCB or your own version?
If drv8825, did you adjust the stepper pot correctly [what method did you use]
Is the motor only turning in one direction?
A diagram of how you wired the stepper motorwires to the board
What stepper motor, purchased from where, what are its specs?
for starters

Hi,
It was an ASCOM update issue. I had the V6, but after updating to V6.5,
it's working now.
The only remaining issue is that when I click +500 or +100 in the Windows
App, the motor sometimes doesn't move. I'll turn on the log and recheck.
