I've been using this device for several years now without any issues at all. Now, all of a sudden I cannot connect, it sometimes connects using the Client app, but then suddenly disconnects.
I use APT and had it connected once. But once I disconnected, it would not reconnect. I've tried ASCOM device hub and that is the same.
I've checked all the connectors, tried different cables, everything I can think of. Nothing helps.
All I can think is that the arduino itself is faulty. But the arduino IDE connects to it fine.
The firmware is several years old, V280. But I can't see that being an issue, it's been working for years.
Any ideas as to what could be going wrong with the comms?
Never mind. I figured it out. There was a port conflict with another ASCOM device that was configured to use the same port. So it confused the hell out of the laptop because it didn't know what to connect to. All good now.
