Hi Robert
uninstalled 301 using the control panel uninstall routine and loaded V303
opened NINA and selected driver, selected COM port, started focuser
focuser connected and looks like reported all settings correctly
select >> to move focuser large amount and motor does not move >> stays selected NINA frozen
task manager force quit NINA and use windows app to connect to focuser all works ok
attached trace log and screen shot
Hi Dave
I have reviewed the ascom log file, but there is nothing in the log file (no errors, no warnings), and the log is very short, also nothing obvious in the screenshot, all the settings match the ascom log.
I dont think I can glean the info required, and would need both logs to see what is going on.
If you can (because I am not getting these issues) please try the following
NINA can also generate logs. I attach following.
With NINA running, disconnect any equipment
first
Options
Click on Log Level Icon, which then opens the folder where the logs will be
Next, change log level from Info to Debug
Next connect to the rotator
When the disaster happens, please send Nina debug log and ascom driver log (documents-ascom-logs etc)
Hi Robert
attached logs as requested
NINA doesnt actually lock up but the focuser is stuck in the position not moving as in the screenshot
the rest of nina i can navigate but cannot stop the focuser so have to break out
hope that makes sense
Hi Dave
Thanks for the logs I will go over thems and see what I can find
In the meantime, revert back to prior version is best until I can figure out what is happening and post a fix.
Regards
Robert

Hi Dave
That doesnt sound good at all, and not what I had expected - considering it passed Comform Universal.
I will take a look, please keep using the 301 in the meantime
