Hi Robert I am running a DRV8825 focuser Full build with Bluetooth and have started having problems connecting to the Windows Application via bluetooth..
I have recently updated the firmware to DRV8825 v2.81 together with your latest Ascom Driver v2.67 and the my focuser windows application v2.2.4.3.2
When I try to connect to the relevant port I get the message that the controller is not responding, the BT HC05 module is shown as paired up to the laptop, but it just times out saying that the controller is not responding.
I have had this working in the past with precious versions of firmware i.e v2.80 but I had to play around with the progammer to get it to work i.e. choose programmer option that included a boot loader. That option no longer shows in my arduino software. The BT HC05 seems to be operating normally, flashing at a steady rate
Could you please offer in possible causes, if not I will forget about using bluetooth as everything else is working fine uncluding connecting to ASCOMPAD error free.
Thanks in anticipation

Charles Clark

Hi Robert I have sorted it I was using the wrong firmware I was using DRV8825.ino I have found that DRV8825_HW203.ino works fine, I only realised when i found that there was only one reference to bluetooth in the program of the DRV8825 and remembered seeing more in the previous version. The Bluetooth App also works on my Samsung TAB2 S tablet.
Thanks for all you previous help

I have problems using the Android-app with HC-05 bluetooth on Myfocuserpro2, build on m-mt-f-bt board. I have build 3 and in one does it work perfect. In the other similiar build, the app can make a connection, but when I tap "test connection" the app stops without further info. The HC-05 are paired ok, and delayed are set as decribed. Delay on Connect = 10 Delay Timeout on Serial Read = 5. Does anyone have an idea.????
I am using the ver 125 firmware, but it is the same with 121.
Another question: C3 in the schematic and on the silk on the board is 470yF, but in your text it is 47 yF.?????

Now my problems with bluetooth is gone. I think it was helped when I used your eprom-eraser. And for the other question, then you have answered in another thread, that wee can use either 470 yF or 47 yF for avoyd resetting.
Thank for answering, and thankyou for the best dokumented project I have seen though my 70 years as radioamateur.

There are a lot of different boards, so I would need to know what the board file in order to answer your question re C3
