Hi Alex,
Dan Brooker added an event system to Ardev last summer. Basically ARdev
objects can register to recieve certain events, and anything can publish
them. The best example of the events that are generated is probably in
output_x11.cpp The main class involved is the 'EventObject' class.
You may need to extend this functionality for your own purposes, but at
least it should give you a start.
