There is a new version of ADL: 0.98.
It is mainly a bugfix of the DB migration bug of ADL 0.96. Beside this there, the dive profile has been enhanced with a crosshair line to indicate the current position, and some other minor improvements.

Since nearly 1/5th (see survey results) of Aqua DiveLog users are German speaking, this will be the first newsletter in English and German (see below).

Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS 0.90

It's been quite a time since Aqua DiveLog version 0.81 has been released, but the waiting is over. There is a brand new Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS 0.90!
One outstanding new feature (among others) is the updated plugin management. Now you are able to reorder the logbook pages or disable pages if you have no use of them (like the dive schedule). The new plugin management is also needed to support new pages developments like buddy signature, ... which will come soon.
Due to the new plugin management and database changes you will have to update the plugins as well. New versions are available at the download page.... read more

Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS 0.80
=============================

A new version of Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS (version: 0.80) is ready for download. The main focus of these release is the dive computer import feature and an improved dive profile screen. As far as I know, Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS is the first application
of it's kind, which is able to upload dives from both, Uwatec Aladin and Suunto Vyper family. You don't need to start a second tool to upload dives and than import them to the logbook, or permanently switch between two programs as it is done by other logbook programs. Dive computer plugins are fully integrated in Aqua DiveLog. You won't even recognize that they are external modules, in daily work. On the other hand, the plugin philosophy provides a great felxibility for both, user and developers.... read more

Aqua DiveLog has reached version 0.62 :-)

There are a lot of bugfixes and a new scrollable schedule table. So this update is really worth downloading.

Aqua Divelog for Palm OS version 0.60 (beta) has been released.
There are some major and minor changes coming with this release.

.) One obvious change you may already have noticed is the name change. The new name is "Aqua DiveLog for Palm OS" this should clarify the purpose of the program (dive logbook) and the operating platform.

.) But the real big step is the new added plugin support. So the next steps are plugin interfaces to dive computers (to upload date, depth, time profile, ...). There are already two plugins available to give a slight demonstration of the capacity of the new technology:
freegps (NMEA compatible GPS interface)
dive statistics (a simple statistic module)

Aqua Palm 0.53 has been released.

The main concern of this update is to increase usability.
Aqua Palm now supports the find button to search for a specific dive site, notes or buddy.
The buddy form has been completely redesigned as well.
