Currently (0.7.3) the configuration of a running machine is grayed out (unable to alter); It is desirable to allow them to be changed while the machine is running. The changes will only become active when the machine is restarted if applicable, or -if no reboot would be needed- allocate the configured resources to the running machine.

I do not think that this needed feature.
There is a virtualization system in which it is applied? (VMWare, libVirt, VirtualBox, etc)?
