Windows support isn't a top priority at the moment. However much of the porting that Andrey has done should still be correct. It's just untested. Personally I don't use Windows much (to say the least). Another problem is that qemu currently has (AFAIK) no maintained accelerator for Windows. kqemu is deprecated, so supporting that doesn't make much sense, and support for it was thrown out in 0.9.1. You can use the TCG accelerator on Windows, but that one is too slow for most people.
Now I'm working on version 0.7 after release, will begin porting to Windows.
