Sorry, we decided that the project was vaporware and it is NEVER going to be released. Sorry folks.

The first alpha release is coming up. We are just waiting for some commandline flags to work out, and the shellscript to get finished. We need beta testers HELP!!! The release is going to support (at least) blacklink and usb, and we have incorporated code which should allow the graylink to work too. And maybe AVRlink also...

YAHOO. In the newest APterm 0.3 (but still called 0.2 in the readme), it is possible to actually make a terminal session with the help of a small shellscript which might be incorporated directly into the code in the future.

Also there has been some big re-structuring on the host side, with all the forking now gone and the piping being handled by the shellscript. Unfortunately the script has not been commited to cvs, but (surprise) it is possible to invoke the commands yourself.... read more

The APterm project is now active (hooray). We are going to post v. 0.01 soon :-) It's already availible on CVS, along with the (mega)unstable 0.02... Plz contribute.
