From an email from James Jefferson
<jjeffers@deskmedia.com>:

I'm running your old patched version of aprsd that I
downloaded on 18
December 2000. I'm attempting to inject packets in via
the UDP port. It
appears that the string does not get null-terminated or
something. If I
go from a longer message to a shorter message, then I
get the difference
in characters being displayed. For example

KB0THN>TNC:>This is the first message I send to UDP
port
KB0THN>THC:>Short message

What ends up on RF is:
KB0THN>TNC:>Short messageirst message I send to UDP
port
