Is it possible to make the windows service do its jobs before the user logs in? Because afterwards they immediately start Firefox and this can not be updated while it is running.
First, understand that the service is a system process independent of a user login. It doesn't know/care if someone is logged in and cannot prevent them from doing so. By default the service checks for updates overnight and installs them at that time. Hopefully your user does not have Firefox running at this time. The time is also configurable to when you think it will not be in use.
Does that help?
