Released 0.5.2 with some mostly cosmetic changes, the most important one being XP styles for Windows XP. It still wouldn't win a beauty contest, but looks a lot better already!
The rest of the changes are mainly for the system tray, checkout the changelog for details.

Just fixed some bugs. See changelog.

I already found to minor bugs:
The first happens when you double click the tray icon. It will show the main window, but make the tray icon disappear. When you then minimize AppStarter, it will be gone, but still be in memory.
The second one is more annoying than anything. When you rightclick the tray icon, you can't make the menu disappear unless you select something.
I will fix those two bugs as soon as I can, please check back in a day or two.

Added common dialog API calls, so file opening should work fine on all Windows versions, and added a systray icon with quickstart menu. Simply rightclick and open an application!

There was a problem with the common dialog control, probably on non-windows xp computers. I made another file release without common dialogs for now, its suffixed -nocomdlg. You will have to type the path- and filenames manually, but it should work.
I will take a look and use an API call later maybe, but don't have the time right now. Let me know if there are any more problems.

I just posted some updated screenshots for the new version and deleted the old ones, in case you would like to take a look.

New version out, just a few small things corrected.

AppStarter v0.3 was released to the public last week! It's fully functional, I just need to make some adjustments for other people using it. You can checkout the source from CVS or download it.
