firmware protection undo for Intel Mac
Brought to you by:

My MacBook Pro won't boot in single user mode, and I vaguely remember enabling firmware protection. I can't find my notes on how to do/undo firmware protection. And whereas mine is an Intel Mac, any resources I can find refer to PPC machines. If you could point to a good resource on how to undo firmware protection on an Intel Mac, I'm sure that would help more people than just me. Thanks. -- 2007 MacBook Pro, 10.5.3

Hello,
I think this will be of use - if you've set a firmware password you won't be able to boot into single user mode.
