#109 not working

As per the AJ Readme:

TO UNINSTALL:
If you are running AppleJack version 1.4.3 or greater, you can uninstall AppleJack simply by adding the 'uninstall' parameter when you run the script in single user mode, like this: "applejack uninstall"
This does not work no matter how many times I do it.

I've tried to uninstall AppleJack without booting into single user mode, and this did not work either though I understand it may be due to the OS X, not to applejack.
