Just an idea.
I just ran du -d 1 -h ~/Library/Mail\ Downloads on aprox. 60 users thru ARD and was astound about the weight on some users download folders. Many where around 1GB, about 5 over 2.5GB, that alot if you take backups on your users.
I have solved (with my knew image-install might add) this with an alias linked to the Desktop so the user "know" that this file exist and should be keept or thrown away.
Maybe this is a good thing to clean away in AJ? I mean, not all know that if you doubleklick an attachement in mail will result as a copy in this folder?
I think this too is out of the scope of AppleJack's focus. I'm not trying to make it do maintenance; I want it to help a user who can't start up their computer, or who's computer is seriously broken.
There are lots of alternative and better ways to do maintenance.
