Ok, when I export the Flame file, but only if it's using a 3D variation, when it saves, the 3D quality is lost...  It said to download the Flame pack from the Flam3 site, and I did, but the 3D variations are ignored......

Here's a ZIP File with a before and after screen shots of an image with 3d variations that was rendered, along with the CMD window showing the error...  I hope someone can help me with this, 'cause I'm at a loss :(

making sure on this one. you're using apophysis 2.06 3D for the viewing and rendering correct? if you use the 2.07beta your 3D variations will be ignored...

          flam3 doesn't support the 3D-Variations in Apophysis 2.06 3D Hack.
Read please the the Readme-File for flam3 (Version 2.7.13) from http://flam3.com/index.cgi?&menu=download . This document contains a list of supported variations.
Also Plugins don't support for 2.07 Beta and 2.06 3D Hack.
That's why: Don't use the export function for the new Versions of Apophysis.

2.06 3D Hack works fine. You have to render with "Flame -> Render to Disk" (the orrange wheel symbol) or "Flame -> Render all Flames". Then you use the intern rendering tool and that knows all Variations (3D and all Plugins.)
