[Aperture-devel] [Aperture 1.5] What is the best way to limit crawler to specific filetypes?

Hello everyone,

 

I am developing application to manage and index documents for my studies
project. I need to limit FileCrawler only for specific filetypes (for now
I'm only interested in pdf, txt, doc and docx). When I just run file crawler
as it is - when it discover other file type it tries to extract it, but it
doesn't find a proper library and exception is catched. I do not want to add
all the libraries, cause I do not need them. My only idea is to extend file
crawler by creating a derived class. But, if it there a simpler way - like a
function accepting file extensions - the work is not needed.

 

I'm sorry if it is trivial, but I can't find this information anywhere..
