solution. We can do it in the SF web space. In the long term we should
submit patches to the maintainers of all libraries, that would make as
many jars from the 3rd group jump to the 1st. Or to submit them to
apache-felix-commons.
    

We could set this up in a separate branch, define modules for each of 
the jars in the 3rd group that use the Maven bundle plugin to add a 
proper manifest.
  
I wonder - why a branch?
a maven repo is steady and not a branch, versioning is builtin in maven.
putting them on the SF webspace should be fine.
