[Apc-aa-coders] New changes and current development

I have checked in everything I've got complete, but ....

I'm actively debugging and developing at the moment. What is the best 
way to stay integrated with the changes to string handling.

Most of my changes are pretty local, but I'd like to do something 
with that id change, and that would involve changing things in a 
number of files.

Since we are on opposite time zones, it might be fine if we are all 
carefull to do a "cvs update" each day before editing, then CVS 
should handle most of the collisions ok.

I am not familiar with how to use the CVS branches. A few pointers 
would be useful if I need to work with them.
