Dear Dr. Echenique Robba --
Unfortunately, I do not have any glibc 2.2 systems available. I would
recommend that you comile APBS (and MALOC) from scratch with whatever
compilers are available on your older system. The compilation
directions are available in the documentation; newer versions of gcc/g77
provide reasonably fast APBS binaries.
