#2 APAN sampling rate

Hi, First I'd like to thank you for your job, it added a
really poweful function in Nagios. One step ahead in
monitoring with trends ;o)

I sounds to me however that sampling (every minute) is
a bit too high for our server. We have so many
parameters we'd like to submit to APAN that I'm afraid
nagios server will not survive. What will you suggest to
decrease a bit APAN plusgins execution rate ?

Talking about Ping response time,

- adjusting apan service definition to 3 minutes ? Quite
easy to produce, I'm afraid however that It will produce
UNKNOWN errors within RRD bases. Won't it ?

- modifying RRD parameters, adjusting apan.cgi &
generation.cgi accordingly ?
