I know this project just opened up, but I've been working with the Apache::MP3 module on and off for about a year now writing a Mason/MySQL interface and backend. I loved the playlists and streaming, but needed something more for the backend because the size of some of our collections exceed 12,000 titles.

TVDinner looks terrific! I'll stick it into a "related projects" link from the home page.
Check out Apache::Jukebox. It's in the CVS repository. The interface is based on the Template Toolkit.
