hi, i've just gotten namp (3.01)to function on my
mandrake 8.2 prosuite box, i added the following to my
httpd.conf:
#the following is for apache::mp3
SetHandler perl-script
PerlHandler Apache::MP3::Resample
PerlSetVar VerboseMP3Encoder true
PerlSetVar MP3Encoder 'lame --mp3input %b - <%f'
PerlSetVar ResamplePresets 'Low 16kbps
=> -b16,\
Medium 56kbps
=> -b56,\
High 128kbps
=> -b128,\
Hi Fi 160kbps
=> -b160'
i can see my files, i can generate playlists and i can
play the playlists by clicking on one of the 'play all'
'play selected' buttons, but when i click on the stream
link next to a file i get 'connection broken' eroor
using konqueror and 'document held no data' when using
mozilla,
i couldn't help noticing that the 'stream' link has
the url:
http://192.168.0.4/music/Beach Boys/Greatest Hits/Beach
Boys - The Greatest Hits - 03 - Surfer Girl.m3u?play=1
i read elswhere:
http://stein.cshl.org/~lstein/talks/perl_conference/cute_tricks/mp3_url.html
that .m3u?stream=1 is for streaming files?
this behaviour happens whether i resample or not

I have the same problem. My MP3 server has a different
hostname as shown in my MP3 player. The MP3 player as a
link to www.domainname.com. That isn't my MP3 server at all.
Looks like all links have www as a hostname. I'm using the
jukebox on an E-smith SME server.
