Hi,

I had a problem with TCL installation and following the
suggestions I re-installed TCL from binary instead the
regular SuSE RPM. I think that I'm over this step. But
right now I'm stucked at the first run. See below:

Becuase you built AOLserver as root, the log directory is
now owned by root. If you try to run AOLserver as yourself,
it won't have the right to create the PID file and so won't run.

    Quick solution:

    cd /usr/local/aolserver

    chown -R calexandrep *

This makes you the owner of all files and AOLserver should
    run just fine.

Why don't you head over to aolserver.com and sign up for the
mailing list? It's low volume and it is much easier to reply
to question you have than sourceforge is!

    Bas.
