Hi, Umm... Do You previously manage to upload any java midlets to the 6230i ? > I have a Nokia 6230i, how can I get the java app installed on it? I > don't have windows, so is there a way to do it under Ubuntu/ 7.10 i386? Well, i do not know exact answer. I had several Nokia's and for some of then it was enough just "send file throuh bluetooth" using gnome-obex-client or kdebluetooth, but some of them (at least nokia 6021) works _only_ with Nokia Suite from windows. So, i suggest to find someone with windows and Nokia Suite to try. > 3) Download anyRemote.jar directly by entering the URL in the phone > webbrowser That was my first idea ... strange that it does not works. Do You tried to upload *jad file ? Did the phone at least receive *jar ? Do You tried gnokii ? Thanks Mike |
