Hi, I'm trying to use anyremote, but I can't figure out how to upload the app to my phone. Been bashing my head for hours, doing BT transfers and also downloading from the web. I have a Nokia 6230i, how can I get the java app installed on it? I don't have windows, so is there a way to do it under Ubuntu/ 7.10 i386? I have tried the following: 1) Upload anyRemote.jar and anyRemote.jad through obex:// in nautilus to the phone. I can see the file on the phone in the file browser, but I can't figure out how to run/install it 2) Used the "send java to phone" button in ganyremote. My phone receives a bluetooth message containing anyRemote.jar but doesn't know what to do with it 3) Download anyRemote.jar directly by entering the URL in the phone webbrowser I may have tried other things too, none of which were successful ;P Thanks Neilen |
