Actually I've found the format. it's:
socket://ip_addr:port_no
It might be handy to put this information on the site in the 'server
usage' page.
Also, anybody know if I can keep a list of connections on the java client?
When I open the java client again it only show the last connection I
was using. Not a list of all connections I have used. This would be
handy, as it takes a little while to type in a socket address using a
number pad.
I have successfully used it to monitor and control servers at work
over socket connections, even though I wont be using it for such in
the future because of the insecurity of the socket connections.
But bravo to you all on a top project.
