I've got an E70 and have a problem with the java client. It seems that all buttons work normally but it doesn't show icons very well (or at all) unless I pick the one with 16x16 icons, which are very small on the (relatively) high resolution screen and that obviously makes it somewhat troublesome to use. In the 32x32 version when e.g. Amarok is run the CD icon is shown occasionally but none of the buttons. No icons at all are shown in the 64x64 version. It seems to me that the screen isn't updated because if I go to the file browser and then back, whatever the file browser showed, remains. Does anybody else have the same problem, should a bug report be filed?
Run from console
anyremote -log -f /path/to/cfg/files/Server-mode/customizeClient5.cfg
And try to play with this cfg.file (button 1-3 will change the icon size)
Then send $HOME/.anyRemote/anyremote.log to me
Done, let me know if you want it as an attachment instead.
So, seems all works OK with customizeClient5.cfg. Correct ?
Which _particular_ cfg. file fails to show 32x32 and 64x64 icons ?
amarok, amarok-v2 and all-in-one at least. I can test more, if necessary.
Correction: all-in-one2. Haven't tried all-in-one yet.
Just an idea...
Add the following line
to the file $HOME/.anyRemote/hook_connect
(create if absent)
Will this helps ?
Unfortunately, it didn't help.
Well... If it works with customizeClient5, then it at least can be "tuned" to work properly :-)
Please do the following:
1. run anyremote from command line:
anyremote -log -f /path/to/cfg/dir/cfg-data/Server-mode/amarok.cfg
(Do You have KDE3 ? If You have KDE4 use amarok2.cfg)
2. connect from java client
3. send $HOME/.anyRemote/anyremote.log and $HOME/.anyRemote/hook_connect
to anyremote at mail.ru
