I own a Samsung L760 mobile phone. I have already downloaded the .jar and .jad files on the phone but I cannot install or open them because the phone displays the "unsupported file type" message . Am I downloading the correct files to my phone or is my phone not compatible with anyremote? I am using Ubuntu linux 8.10 and I have already installed anyremote with the ganyremote gui frontend. My phone is detected in Ubuntu and I can send/recieve files to and from my computer.
Firstly, a lot of Samsung's supports java download only via WAP.
And in many cases users have to use some 'quirks' to upload java to the Samsing's.
