Xlib: async errors

  • Nobody/Anonymous

kanyremote works great under my gentoo box, but i have problems if i run it on a dual-head desktop. I have an nvidia card and two desktop, the first is the normal LCD laptop screen, the second is the TV-out, i suppose this is a normal scenario for multimedia and anyremote users :)
Howewer in this kind of configuration running kanyremote results in Xlib async errors and the program freezes, may you fix this?
Another little issue is that at startup it does not find/create $HOME/.anyRemote dir, i created it manually and it went up.

Unfortunately i did not have dual-head desktop to test.
As for $HOME/.anyRemote creation - it will be fixed in next release. Thank You for finding!

I have tested kanyremote in dual-head desktop mode (with xinerama)
In my case all works properly.
Please, send me exact dual-head configuration You use.

I sent you my xorg.conf file.
For other users i report i'm using dual-head configuration with separated screens and not xinerama.
