#6 Blank page during installation

After installing anyInventory, I get a blank page when
I go to it in my browser. I'm running Fedora Core 2,
Apache 2.0.51, PHP 4.3.10, MySQL 4.1.12. The following
is the error that shows up in the Apache error log:

PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function:
assertextension() in /usr/share/pear/DB/mysql.php on
line 114, referer:
http://xx.xx.xx.xx/anyInventory-2.0/install.php

You need to run
# pear install db
