anyInventory 1.9 Released

Version 1.9 of anyInventory, a flexible Web-based inventory system, has been released. This version has several new features:

* Item associations. You can now create a field that is populated by links to all of the items in the inventory.

* WYSIWYG editor. For text fields longer than 255 characters, a WYSIWYG editor is provided for adding or editing text.

* Alert expirations. You can now specify an ending date for an alert.

* Multi-language support. anyInventory is now available in Spanish and French, and can be translated to any other language by translating the single language file, and optionally, the documentation folder. Thanks to Isaac Uribe and Cedric Arrabie for the translations.

* XML download. You can now download the contents of your inventory as an XML file.

Many bugs have been fixed as well, and the database schema has been altered to save space. It is recommended that anyone using a previous version of anyInventory upgrade to version 1.9.

New users can try out a demo version at the anyInventory homepage: http://anyinventory.sf.net/
