anyInventory 1.7 Released

The development team of anyInventory, a flexible Web-based inventory system, is pleased to announce the release of version 1.7. This release is by far the most stable release yet, as all known major bugs have been fixed. Additionally, four new features have been added: thumbnailing and local storage of images added by URL (when the libcURL library is installed); built-in password protection of the admin directory (optional); multiple-category alerts; and a brand-new, cleaner, easier-to-use layout. It is strongly recommended that anyone using a previous version of anyInventory upgrade to version 1.7.

New users (or current users thinking about upgrading) can test out the newest version at the anyInventory homepage: http://anyinventory.sourceforge.net/
