[Anygui-users] Can't run tutorial program

I have downloaded and installed Anygui on Windows XP Home Edition.

I have a problem when trying to run the example program in the tutorial.

The output window flickers like it is stuck in a loop and finally stops =
with
the hour glass symbol showing.  If I click in the window the title bar =
says
(not responding). =20

Is this a problem with Windows XP or a Anygui problem.  I
have taken just the part of the sample program and just created a window =
and
ran the program with the same results.
