#149 Default file type is always C++ in open dialog

PC: Xeon 2.2Ghz with Windows XP Pro SP2

When the open document dialog shows, it always defaults
the file type to C++ (i.e. the first type of the drop
down list), thus showing, by default, only the C/C++
files of the directory.

When not working with C/C++ this is particularly
disturbing.

It would be better to have the default file type to the
default (i.e. "*.*").
