I just wanna share my experience working with ANUGA, #1 How can I change colors in ANUGA viewer (by stage for example)?
You can observe the stage different by changing the viewer mode by pressing 't' button while opening it. You can also observe the time series graph of the stage and momentum in a certain location by pointing your mouse to that location and then press together ('Right Shift
' button + 'Right Click
' of your mouse)
#2 How can I view and edit the mesh?
The easiest way to view the mesh is by using anuga viewer by pressing 'w' button while opening it. Since the 'w' button is used to change the viewer mode.
In my experience, I use the other software to create and edit the mesh (*.tsh file) for ANUGA. The mesh is developed from topography data (Digital elevation model data).
If you want to have ANUGA tutorial, you can develop your own mesh by using ANUGA built in function such as rectangular_cross function.
You may read some examples of case study there.
The location: anuga_core>>source>>anuga_validation_tests>>case_studies
#3 Is there any function for refining mesh by elevation?
Yes there is function for refining the mesh following the elevation data. You can learn from the study case located in
inside that study case you can learn how to create mesh by anuga function adopted from the topography data
I think the easiest way for working with anuga is start from the case study and then you can developed from it to model your own scenario
