Hi Sylla,

Looks like make is not installed. The following should install make and other useful tools.

sudo apt-get install build-essential

Hi, I want to install anuga_parallel on my ubuntu server 12.04LTS, but I come up with below problems when I try to run the compile_all.py file in the anuga source file:

Attempting to compile Metis for parallel ANUGA!
Pypar (version 2.1.5) initialised MPI OK with 1 processors
make   > /home/Sylla/anuga/anuga_core/make_metis.log
sh: 1: make: not found
anuga_parallel code not compiled as pypar not installed

and I also have the following problems when I install the pypar:

running mpicc -show
/usr/bin/mpicc: line 266: echo: write error: Broken pipe
running mpicc -compile_info -link_info
/usr/bin/mpicc: line 266: echo: write error: Broken pipe
running mpicc -show;mpicc -echo -c /tmp/tmpcgdahy.c -o /tmp/tmpcgdahy.o
/usr/bin/mpicc: line 266: echo: write error: Broken pipe

Does this means the pypar had not been installed successfully? May anyone help me? Thanks!

Best wishes.
