Hi Murugesh, Just thought that maybe there is a bug in the timeSlice part of the code, though that is unlikely. Some other possibilities for differences. (1) There is a default minimum_storable_height = 1.0e-03 (2) Data is stored as single precision in an sww file. You could test (1) by doing the following domain.set_minimum_storable_height(1.0e-08) to see if that minimises the difference. Hi Karin, Generally, I've found that ANUGA flood model domains are small enough that you can accept the minor distortions that come from working slightly outside the borders of your chosen UTM zone. If you really need to understand what a "minor distortion" actually is in your case, pick a feature in your model domain at the furthest distance from the UTM border, and measure it in both UTM options to compare the error. Of course this strategy might not be appropriate if you're modelling tsunamis across thousands of kilometers of oceans and way way away from the UTM border. Life is certainly simpler if you can pick at UTM zone for your model and stick with it. Hi Kumar, Don't know why you are getting that error. But as you have already installed pypar, you just need to install the packages as specified in the install_ubuntu.sh from lines 41 - 74. Do that manually. Dear all, I am trying to dive into Anuga simulations. For acceleration I have seen that somebody worked with CUDA (https://github.com/stoiver/anuga-cuda). I have not seen this integrated into anuga_core. If somebody could kindly assist with a) if there's a more recent working state of anuga-cuda or b) a recipe on how to make anuga-cuda code to integrate with the current anuga_core.
