Btw, where are the hashes stored in (Windows path)?
Also, is there any possibility to install the latest version (1.0.1) to a chosen path (instead of the Java app cache)?
I hate to have P2P software with (possibly) their hashes in unsecure root drives, I would very much like to have them installed in a separate encrypted volume. The installers in SourceForge are all older versions.
To answer my own question, in Windows the hashes are stored in
<user home directory>\ANtsP2P\sharedFiles.ant
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\ANtsP2P\sharedFiles.ant
While the Java Application Cache directory, where ANts binaries are stored, can be changed (via JVM Control Panel), it doesn't change the behavior of ANts choosing the user home directory for its data without prompting the user.
I'm now looking into this, but the CVS in SF is empty and the latest sources available here stale (v1.0.1).
For a full customization of path don't use java Web Start but the installers on sourceforge... you can choose the installation path and the other paths as well in that case
