The whole purpose of Antishock is to refocus our energies. Dunbar's Number suggests we can have no more than 150 meaningful friendships online. Images of people and targeted media and growing online ads consume more emotional resources.
But what if you don't want 150 online friends? What if you want to live in the real world? What if commuting to the digital domain is enough? That is the purpose of Antishock. Antishock is designed to turn off and tone down all of the images, advertisements and individuals vying for our attention.
