#44 Splash Page and Hidden elements - value not set

Hidden elements/properties don't have their value set when used in a Splash Page. When used in an Input Page the value is properly set and visible in the ant.install.properties .

The documentation isn't clear on where hidden elements can and can't be used. It would be very useful to be able to set these on a splash page since this is typically the fist page a user will see and means they will be available to subsequent pages regardless of other conditions.
