Installation

Jónathan Heras

AntibiogramJ does not require installation. Just download AntibiogramJ using the following button, unzip the file, and run the program AntibiogramJ.jar. The only requirement to run AntibiogramJ is the installation of Java. You can check if Java is installed in your computer using the following link:
https://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp?detect=jre

Important: When you unzip the AntibiogramJ.zip file, this produces several files and folders. It is important to always keep together the file AntibiogramJ.jar and the folder libs; otherwise, AntibiogramJ will not work properly.

Linux users It might happen that the default program to execute jar files in Linux is the Archive Manager; therefore, when you double-click the file AntibiogramJ.jar, the program will be opened instead of executed. In order to change this, right-click on AntibiogramJ.jar, select "Open with", and finally select Java (the concrete name of the Java program might change depending on the Java installation on the computer). To set Java as default program to execute jar files, right-click on AntibiogramJ.jar and select Properties; this will open a new window, in such a window select the tab Open With, subsequently select Java, and finally press the Set as Default button.
