I'm not sure if this was the response that I was supposed to get or if this was an automated email generated to my question, but I just got two text files. From: Guerrerohernandez, Brandon (GE Healthcare) Sent: Monday, July 18, 2016 11:11 AM To: ant...@li... Subject: EXT: [antform] Creating GUI Good morning, and to whomever this concerns. I'm currently working on a project where I have several recordings in .wav format, and the goal is to have an xml file, which I have already, and then being able to create some sort of UI that will allow the users to select a language either from a dropdown menu or table of some sort and then be able to download the desired languages. The way I want to build this is have a tool parse my xml file and then allow the user to choose the language(s) they want as previously stated. Would this be something I'd be able to do with AntForm? Hello, I am not sure I understand your question here. As it's name states, Antform is meant to provide input forms (ie windowed) to users. To use non-GUI user input mechanisms, you can use the standard <input> ant task. You can use a property to enable GUI or not. Something like ${use.gui}. The code could look like this: <target name="get-user-input-gui" if="use.gui"> <antform ... /> ... </target> <target name="get-user-input" depends="get-user-input-gui" unless="use.gui"> <input ... /> ... </target> Then you invoke your ant script with the parameter -Duse.gui=true if you're on a GUI enabled machine. Else, just don't put this parameter. rgds, On Wed, Mar 9, 2011 at 2:25 AM, Maureen Geray <mg...@gm...> wrote: > > Hello, > > I just like to ask if I Antform has an option to run on command line aside > from GUI based form. > I like to this since the server that will run the script may or may not > have support to Xserver. > Or if you are aware of any program that can convert normal ant build > scripts to script understood by Antform, or vice versa. > > > > Hoping for your immediate reply. Hello, I just like to ask if I Antform has an option to run on command line aside from GUI based form. I like to this since the server that will run the script may or may not have support to Xserver. Or if you are aware of any program that can convert normal ant build scripts to script understood by Antform, or vice versa. Hoping for your immediate reply. Thank you very much -- Maureen Gail G. with a gentle expectation that presently they will achieve the great feat. Now if there is a man on earth who is the utter contrary of everything that this description implies; whose very existence is an insult to the ideal it realizes; whose eye disparages, whose resonant voice denounces, whose cold shoulder jostles every decency, every delicacy, every amenity, every dignity, every sweet usage of that quiet life of mutual admiration in which perfect Shakespearian appreciation is expected to arise, that man is Frank Harris. Here is one who is extraordinarily qualified, by a range of sympathy and understanding that extends from the ribaldry of a buccaneer to the shyest tendernesses of the most sensitive poetry, to be all things to all men, yet whose proud humor it is to be to every man, provided the man is eminent and pretentious, the champion of his enemies. To the Archbishop he is an atheist, to the atheist a Catholic mystic, to the Bismarckian Imperialist an Anacharsis Klootz, to Anacharsis Klootz a Washington, to Mrs Proudie a Don Juan, to Aspasia a John Knox: in short, to everyone his complement rather than his counterpart, his antagonist rather than his fellow-creature. Ous consequences, and be made a precedent for the purpose of establishing a real inquisition. The magistrates, and especially M. Meuron, who had succeeded M. d' Ivernois in the office of attorney-general, made every effort to defend me. Colonel Pury, although a private individual, did more and succeeded better. It was the colonel who found means to make Montmollin submit in his Consistory, by keeping the elders to their duty. He had credit, and employed it to stop the sedition; but he had nothing more than the authority of the laws, and the aid of justice and reason, to oppose to that of money and wine: the combat was unequal, and in this point Montmollin was triumphant. However, thankful for his zeal and cares, I wished to have it in my power to make him a return of good offices, and in some measure discharge a part of the obligations I was under to him. I knew he was very desirous of being named a counsellor of state; but having displeased the court by his conduct in the affair of the minister Petitpierr |

Lane followed her, and when for a moment she dared to look up at him she encountered a look so tender, anxious, and ardent that she lowered her eyes in quick confusion. He seized her hand, and for a brief instant she let it rest in his. 'Speak to me,' he murmured, caressingly and pleadingly. 'Tell me.' 'I don't understand you, Mr. Protheroe,' the girl said pantingly. 'Not understand me, dear? 'he whispered; 'I am asking you to be my wife.' 'I understand that,' she answered, drawing herself away from him, and speaking with difficulty. 'It is _you_ I don't understand. You--yourself.' 'Tell me how, darling,' he said softly. I will participate in the infamy which you propose to me." These words produced their effect; those most resolved on submission were turned from their project, and all retired from his presence abashed, and determined to suffer still. But the famine continued, increased, no succour arrived, and human fortitude could endure no more; the Rochellois opened their gates, and Richelieu was triumphant. But where was Jean Guiton?--that question remains to be answered to this day. He was never seen more; some have thought that he was assassinated by those who feared his resentment or his opposition; or by those who considered him still formidable, though fallen; others imagined that the king, to whom his talents as a seaman were known, and who admired the firmness of his character, had seduced him, by offers of great advantage, to abandon his party and enter his service. There is a tradition that he distinguished himself in the armies of Louis, under an assumed name, and became a terror to the enemies of France. Again, he is said to have been condemned to perpetual imprisonment; and again, to have spent his days in exile from his native land, having fled from the town at the time of its reduction. Whatever his fate may have been, it is unknown; and conjecture alone fills up the blank. It is difficult to imagine that a man such as he could listen to offers of advantage, or would have betrayed the cause for which he was ready to sacrifice his life: that he died in exile, unable to endure to see the destruction of his hopes, is more probable. The painter has chosen the moment when the citizens are making their last appeal, and he has succeeded in conveying the feeling and interest of the scene in an eminent degree; it is im |

Thin your reach, would be a worthy mark for your treacherous British muskets," said Blair boldly. "I would dare you to fire, but there are those at home who would miss us too much. Do what you will with us; we are your prisoners." The British tars handled their captives without ceremony, and hurried them at once on board the man-of-war and presented them before its impatient commander. Not a little surprised at the grotesque appearance of the prisoners, he exclaimed in astonishment, "Who and what are you?" "I am a Yankee boy, the captain of the Fairport Guard," said Blair frankly. "We had been parading, when your signal for a pilot called me too suddenly away for me to have time to lay aside this dress, _this coat_ which my grandfather wore at _Bunker Hill_." A strong emphasis was laid on the last word of the sentence. "You young rascal!" exclaimed the commander. "And who is this Tom-fool of a companion?" "It is my friend, and one of our company. He would not see me risking my life on the water while he stood on the shore. Would that we had many such 'Tom-fools,' with brave, strong hearts like his." As Blair spoke, he took off his official cap and left his noble young head bare. With another movement the precious coat was thrown over his arm, and the stripling stood in his school-boy dress before the English commander, who exclaimed, "A pretty pilot, you. Who sent you on this mad errand?" "My father has been for thirty years the pilot of Fairport. He is now absent fighting for his country against her oppressors. I know the channel well. No one of our few remaining men would venture his life in such a sea for an unknown vessel, and so I came. I knew it would be certain death for you to try to enter that harbor without a pilot." "Then do your duty, young malapert. There is no time to be lost. We'll run up the British flag, and go into port under fair colors." The commander gave the necessary orders to have the last suggestion carried out, and the sailors were prompt to do |

Nility of Old Parr or older Jenkins, which have outlived their half dozen of kings to be the prize of showmen and treasuries of the born-to-be-forgotten trifles of a hundred years ago. We confess a bibliothecarian avarice that gives all books a value in our eyes; there is for us a recondite wisdom in the phrase, "A book is a book"; from the time when we made the first catalogue of our library, in which "Bible, large, 1 vol.," and "Bible, small, 1 vol.," asserted their alphabetic individuality and were the sole _B_s in our little hive, we have had a weakness even for those checker-board volumes that only fill up; we cannot breathe the thin air of that Pepysian self-denial, that Himalayan selectness, which, content with one book-case, would have no tomes in it but _porphyrogeniti_, books of the bluest blood, making room for choicer newcomers by a continuous ostracism to the garret of present incumbents. There is to us a sacredness in a volume, however dull; we live over again the author's lonely labors and tremulous hopes; we see him, on his first appearance after parturition, "as well as could be expected," a nervous sympathy yet surviving between the late-severed umbilical cord and the wondrous offspring, doubtfully entering the Mermaid, or the Devil Tavern, or the Coffee-house of Will or Button, blushing under the eye of Ben or Dryden or Addison, as if they must needs know him for the author of the "Modest Enquiry into the Present State of Dramatique Poetry," or of the "Unities briefly considered by Philomusus," of which they have never heard and never will hear so much as the names; we see the country-gentlemen (sole cause of its surviving to our day) who buy it as a book no gentleman's library can be complete without; we see the spend-thrift heir, whose horses and hounds and Pharaonic troops of friends, drowned in a Red Sea of claret, bring it to the hammer, the tall octavo in tree-calf following the ancestral oaks of the park. Such a volume is sacred to us. But it must be the original foundling of the book-stall, the engraved blazon of some extinct baronetcy within its cover, its leaves enshrining memorial flo |
