Could you please consider applying the patch provided on 2008-09-10 by
drombo at :

https://sourceforge.net/p/ant-contrib/patches/60/

which resolve a bug preventing users to post a file while using the
PostMethodTask.

There is no active development, that's correct.  And ant-contrib is
completely independent of the Ant developers (even though some Ant
developers have contributed to ant-contrib).

OTOH there still seem to be people around who'd jump in if a serious bug
was raised.  At leat I'm not aware of any security vulnerability that
wouldnhave been brought up to the team.

is one of those projects where things work well as is and there really
isn't much need to "fix" things.

I am new to ANT and cctasks. I want to build my application with a compiler
which is not mentioned in cctasks documentation. Do I need to add new
adaptor to have support for this new compiler or I can extend existing
cctasks to use any gcc based compiler? details of compiler:
target OS: VxWorks
CPU: ARM7
Host: Windows
compiler name: ccarm and c++arm

Kindly suggest best solution to get my existing code with new compiler.

Forget, the post above. It were the xercesImpl.jar and xml-apis.jar file all

I found a similar problem on bugzilla but it has been around a long time with
no activity other than a recent update by me. However, at the time I thought
it was an ANT problem but looking at the trace it seems specific to replaceregexp.
Am I the only one that has encountered this and if not, is there a workaround?

Hi,

Is it by design that <sysincludepath> task using GCC translates to -I
(normal include) instead of -isystem (system include) on GCC?
Intuitively, I'd assume that it would use -isystem since that is how
you include system headers in GCC.

Is there a way I can manually change this functionality to use
-isystem instead?  I am looking through the codebase and I can't seem
to find out where this translation is done.

errors to the console?

I am using the CC task
(http://ant-contrib.sourceforge.net/cpptasks/antdocs/CCTask.html) to
build and I can't seem to find a way to do this.

the "src" kind and the "inter project" classpath entry (in bold). I was able

Yes as Brian mentions above it did work on my machine when he passed that project
over to me few years back, and had to redo this on another machine after so
many years and still had the same issue. I got it working now by including the
following jar in ant's lib folder:  xerces-2.6.2.jar
