I am trying to build a very simple hello world executable with no luck.
It does build the executable but it wont run.
I am using:
Visual Studio 6. Hello world win32 application (gui), windows 2000.

by the way the consol application works great

Here is the task:
   <target name="compile" depends="init" description="Compile application without cleaning">
    <cc debug="${debug}" link="executable" incremental="false" outtype="executable"
        objdir="dist" outfile="dist/helloworld" subsystem="gui"
        multithreaded="false" exceptions="true"  rebuild="true" runtime="static">
        <compiler name="${compiler}"/>
        <linker name="msvc">
        <syslibset libs="kernel32,user32"/>
        </linker>
        <defineset>
        <define name="WIN32"/>
        <define name="_WINDOWS"/>
        <define name="PLATFORM_WIN32"/>
        </defineset>
        <fileset dir="C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\MyProjects\HelloWorld" includes="**/*.cpp"/>
    </cc>
    </target>
