[Answerd-devel] USRobotics welcome message

Hi,

I'm working a bit more with answerd, but when I try to hear my greeting
message it sounds like a bit of noise (not a word can be understood).
Anyone is using a USRobotics modem ?? Could someone pass me how to convert
a wav file into a USRobotics greeting message ??

Hmmm.... I have a modem with the Rockwell chipset; it's a little noisy
but I had no problems recording messages. I basically recorded a .au
(from another program) and then converted the file to the proper
format. By the way, I think this list has currently three people on it
(you, me, Slawa).

I'm sorry, I've not explined the problem accuratelly.
The voice isn't noisy, simply is garbage (it sound like R2D2 voice).

I've read somewhere that the format for USRobotics has no header (or
something in the style). Do you have any info on the format used by
USRobotics modems ??
