#83 Cannot check for new development version

Using Release version 00.05.022, it is impossible to
check for new development version. If I choose
"development version" in the drop down menu and try to
do an online check, the result _always_ default back to
the latest Release version. This is contrary to the
instructions stated in the help file.

When using development versions 00.05.048 or 00.05.051
the drop down menu is grayed-out and I cannot choose
either "stable release" or "development release".

Please fix this.
